We, at BDM Cryofusion & Mandressi Italia, manufacture and supply the latest Cryogenic Oxygen Plants that are designed and developed in technical collaboration with the use of Italian technology from 'Felice Mandressi' of Italy. Our cryogenic oxygen plants meet all the international standards and are manufactured as per European Standards and are extremely efficient as they work at sub zero temperatures to distill the gases from air as Oxygen becomes Liquid and separates at -185 Deg.C. below zero.

We have successfully installed our cryogenic oxygen plants worldwide in many countries worldwide. Our oxygen plant works on the latest Low pressure process at just 6 to 8 Bar using a fully automatic rotary type air compressor. The oxygen produced can be filled into cylinders at 155 Bar in our cryogenic gas plants or Liquid oxygen can be filled into storage tanks in all of our cryogenic liquid plants.

Our company uses the latest rotary screw type air compressors of Atlas Copco and our air separation column (cold box) is very efficient due to higher recovery ratio compared to local Cryogenic Liquid Nitrogen Plants for achieving 99. 9% yield to give a nitrogen purity of nitrogen Liquid at the outlet in Oxygen Gas Plants of the cold box as low as 3 parts per million.

BDM Cryofusion & Mandressi ITALIA is one of the leading manufacturers of Cryogenic oxygen Plants for production of gas oxygen, gas nitrogen, liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen.


The Steps to produce Cryogenic Oxygen and nitrogen are shown below:
 
Step i: AIR COMPRESSION: Air is compressed by a fully automatic rotary air compressor and passed on for the purification process at the desired pressure of 6 to 8 bar.

Step ii: AIR PURIFICATION: Air is then passed through various stages to remove the impurities including dust, hydrocarbons and Carbon Dioxide. This is performed by the process purification skid which has 2 molecular sieve batteries working on a staggered cycle of 8 hours each.

Step iii: AIR SEPARATION: The purified air containing a mixture of oxygen and nitrogen is passed into the expansion turbine and plate-fin type heat exchangers for cryogenic cooling to subzero temperatures in order to reach the boiling point of oxygen and nitrogen.

Oxygen and nitrogen are separated via the difference in the boiling points of the gases; oxygen becomes liquid at -185 Deg.C and nitrogen becomes liquid at -195Deg.C respectively. This is known as cryogenic air separation and is done in the cryogenic air separation unit (Cold Box) consisting mainly of an upper column, lower column and Heat exchangers which are fitted along with many other components.

Note: Air separation column made in copper are banned as per European and American standards as copper reacts with oxygen and corrosion occurs.

Step iv: cryogenic Liquid Oxygen Nitrogen storage tanks: The final product in the form of liquid Oxygen or Liquid Nitrogen goes to the respective storage tank. From the tank, the user can fill Liquidoxygen into the gas cylinders by passing it through a cryogenic vaporizer and then compressing the oxygen gas using a booster to fill cylinders at the desired pressure.

Cryogenic vessels are designed for storage and transport of liquid gases at sub-zero temperatures. Manufacturing of such cryogenic tanks requires special technical know how and sophisticated fabrication techniques. We have developed the necessary technology and has been manufacturing cryogenic vessels.
